Cheyenne Eagle Bag with Number 8 Turquoise

This Cheyenne Eagle Bag is an outstanding take on a Buffalo Girl classic and one of our favourite designs!

The bag is made of soft suede in warm palomino. It features hand-tooled leather embellishments, including our signature stamped Eagle emblem on the front. A large number 8 turquoise stone displaying vibrant aqua blues forms the heart of the Eagle. This stunning high-grade stone comes from Nevada and is traditionally used in Western jewellery, known for its spider web matrix and vibrant colours. The design on the front is surrounded by gunmetal grey studding for that stand-out touch. 

The organically hand shaped strap features a Sierra Nevada turquoise stone to match. The strap fastens with our iconic Eagle buckle. Side panels of the bag are hand tooled and embellished with small silver Navajo conchos. The inside front panel of the bag is adorned with an elegantly stamped leather embellishment and a Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone inlay. All leather panels have been carefully hand dyed to achieve that beautiful honey tan with a rustic finish. 

The signature Buffalo Girl tasselled feather clip attaches to the bag using a small tooled leather strap. It features turquoise bead detailing and soft hand picked feathers for that luxurious touch. The design is complete with tassels on the sides and the front of the bag. 

Symbolism:

The Eagle is one of our favourite design elements. It signifies strength, vision, and rising above our perceived limitations.  Turquoise is one of the oldest known protective amulets that signifies creativity borne out of the unity between the earth and sky. It is a near universal symbol of wisdom, strength, and hope, believed to attract abundance and good fortune.
